Our vineyard covers 74 hectares and is planted with vines of a ripe old age in different varieties, such as:
- for the 56 hectares of Châteauneuf du Pape wines: black Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault, Mourvèdre, and Counoise for the red wines, and white Grenache, Clairette, and Bourbelenc for the white wines.
-for the 18 hectares of Côtes du Rhône wines: Grenache and Carignan.
THE HARVEST
The date of the grape picking is determined in function of each parcel and grape variety for an optimal final product. The picking is done manually, beginning with a selection of grapes in the vineyards and a second sorting on a sorting table upon arrival in the cellar.

CULTIVATION METHODS
During the winter, we take advantage of this dormant period to prune, to plough and fertilise organically the vines. We prune in a certain way in order to produce only the best quality grapes. We replace dead vines and burn or grind the canes.

CULTIVATION METHODS
In the spring , there is de-budding , ploughing and fertilising of the soils. The vines are treated to prevent diseases caused by parasites, insects and funghi. The treatments are environmentally friendly, following strict measures kept in a schedule of conditions and regularly checked to see if all is done properly. This method goes along with the reasonable and limited use of natural fertilisers and products in order to preserve Mother Nature resulting in a natural quality product. |
